Sanity prevails

Hello  {!firstname},

Last year when I was in Northern California, I dropped into a small town, along the Pacific Coast Highway #1.

If you've never driven the Pacific Coast highway, #1, it's quite a lovely drive, and hugs the coast from San
Francisco, all the way to Los Angeles, California.

That's where I was headed to for a meeting with Celestron, who were about to launch a series of new products
at a meeting at their plant, in Torrance, California.

Anyway, getting back to what I was saying, I stopped in this small town along the way, to grab a coffee and snack at a cafe.

While in line, I had a conversation with the fellow in front of me, who asked me where I was from.

As soon as I mentioned "Toronto", he broke out in a grin, and smiled and said  "Oh yeah, you got the crackhead mayor!".

I just nodded of course. What else can one do?

Yes, Mayor Rob Ford did put Toronto on the map, in the most obscure places.

Being on the Jimmy Kimmel show on late night American tv, certainly made for good fodderfor comedians everywhere.

A  new Mayor was elected last night, and many in Toronto, breathed a sigh of relief.

And you too can breathe a sigh of relief as well.

From now until Halloween you can purchase a select model of Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescope and save up to $1000!

Yup it's a fact,  {!firstname}.

And, even get a FREE Celestron 7amp powertank, at no extra charge (worth about a $100 bucks after taxes).

There is a complete list of all the models, at www.khanscope.com

Clear Skies,

Ray Khan

PS It's kind of spooky, but I'm sure we have not heard the last of Mayor Rob Ford. And he did retain his
seat as a local councillor in his riding.
He is already looking ahead  to the next elections in 2018, four years from now.  Will history repeat itself? Only time will tell!
