Hello {!firstname},

Designing and creating a new telescope is an uphill battle.

You've got the idea guys, the engineers, and the marketing team, all having to work together and get along.

The engineers, want to build the best telescope possible for the end user.  The marketing guys want to make
sure that the price is right.

Eventually, they meet in the middle and everyone is happy, because you the customer wins, by getting
superb features at a very reasonable price.

It's a win, win situation.  The best kind there is.

And what exactly is that?

Good question. Thanks for asking.

How about a telescope that you actually control with your smartphone , Android, or Ipad
device?  No wires or hand control to contend with.

Everything is controlled with the Celestron mobile Star Planetarium app.  You have a large database, of objects, more than you'll
ever see in a lifetime.  Well over a 100,000 objects!

Crikey! That's at least 9 lifetimes for all you cat's out there.

Also, no longer do you have to contend with an  external power supply for the Evolution.  It has a built in
10 hour Lithium battery that keeps the instrument cordless.

And, if you are worried about your external devices losing juice, a built in USB charging port is included
as well.

The tripod is solid, and 95% metal. With built in accessory trays for both 1.25 and 2" eyepieces,  and a red led
illumination system so no guessing which eyepiece is which.

Now, this is the cat's meow: Manual clutches on both axes of the telescope.

Yes, a feature yours truly really likes.

And a big drum roll for.....wait......the legendary 9.25" Celestron optical system is now available on the evolution.

So you've got a 6", an 8", and 9.25" model to choose from.

And you can see them all here:

Happy Good Friday,  {!firstname},I'm off to nosh on a Hot Cross bun.

Clear Skies,

Ray "(r)evolution" Khan
